How we handle your details
Plain version: we collect your email so we can confirm your booking request, and a few optional details so we can hold the right room. We do not sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it any time. Last updated 29 June 2026.
Who we are
Tuloy Siargao is a long-stay accommodation in General Luna, Siargao Island, Philippines. For anything about your data, email hello@tuloysiargao.com.
What we collect, and why
- Your email address (required) so we can reply about your dates and confirm your stay. Legal basis: your request. You asked us to check your dates, so answering you is the thing you came for, and we do not need your consent to reply.
- The dates you’d like to stay (arrival and length) and optionally who you are, so we can check availability and hold a suitable room. You can skip these.
- A referral code if you arrived from a friend's link, so we can credit them.
- Your phone number (required for a booking request) so the team can reach you about your dates. You do not need WhatsApp: any number you answer is fine.
- A record of what you were told (the wording shown to you, plus the date and time), so we can both see the basis we hold your details on.
- Island updates only if you tick the box for them. That one is optional, it is never a condition of booking, and you can unsubscribe at any time. If you tick it we keep that wording and its timestamp as proof of consent.
- Basic technical details sent by your browser (approximate request time, referring page, and user-agent) to keep the form secure and reduce spam.
Double opt-in
After you ask to stay we email you a confirmation link. Your request only counts once you click it. This confirms the address is really yours and that you want to hear from us.
Cookies and analytics
We keep this light, and analytics only runs if you accept it in the cookie banner.
- Google Analytics 4 (optional, consent-based): measures anonymous, aggregate page activity so we can see how the site performs. It runs under Google Consent Mode and stays off until you accept. IP addresses are anonymised. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (necessary): a privacy-friendly bot check on the signup form. It does not track you across sites and does not show ads.
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Who processes your data
We use a small set of trusted providers, only to run this site and handle your request:
- Netlify: hosting and secure storage of booking requests.
- Resend:sending the confirmation and welcome emails.
- Cloudflare:the Turnstile bot check.
- Google:Analytics, only with your consent.
Some of these providers are based outside your country, including the United States, so your details may be processed there under the providers' own safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while we’re in touch with you about a stay, or until you ask us to remove you or unsubscribe, whichever comes first. We then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your data, and you can withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe option, or just write to hello@tuloysiargao.com and we will act on it promptly.
